Glee is about a High School teacher, Will Schuester (Mathew Morrison), that has the admonition to change the boring Glee Club into the powerhouse it once was when he accidentally accepts the position at his High School. To do this he has to bring out the most talented of them all and mold them into the best performers. They are preparing for Nationals, the biggest competition of the year. Among the Talent, Kurt (Chris Colfer) is a soprano that hits every not with no problem; Mercedes (Amber Riley), a diva that has the pipes to go with the attitude; Artie (Kevin McHale), a guitarist that is not popular at all; and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), a rocker that has a stutter and blue hair extensions to add. To stand in his way to achieve this honor of winning the Nationals are a principal that doesn't care and the groups of cheerleading and football. Not to mention a wife that has aspirations for Will to quit the current employment as a High School teacher and change to work as an accountant so that she will be able to have more money to take with her and spend where she wants. However, Will's passion is to change the lives of the children involved in the Glee Club and show them their true potentials and allow them to shine through their thoughts of insecurity. Will's true "ace in the hole" are Rachel (Lea Michele), a singer who knows that she is the best and Finn (Cory Monteith), the quarterback that all the girls go for. However, Finn must try to protect his reputation from the other people in his group of popular friends. Will has the determination to make things right with the group and prove the entire school wrong about their opinions of the individuals in the Glee Club. He wants to have them show their true talent and make it worth their time as he did when he was in the Glee Club years ago.

They tell the parents that they are expecting a baby boy and that they have some work left to complete the babies room. Will talks to his dad alone and tells that he doesn't want the baby because of the fact that Terri will buy all the new things for the baby. The advice that his dad gives is that he needs to suck it up and be a man. He blames himself for Will feeling the way he does and tells him to go with it. He asks Kurt what he is wearing and Kurt tries to tell that it is a unitard and that guys have to wear them for football. Britney lies to Burt and tells that Kurt made it on the football team. She tells that Kurt is the kicker on the team. Kurt tells his dad that the girls are over to teach him how to work out.
